Sorrell Chew brings 33 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, having served 24 years as the Leasing and Sales Director for Richey Management Company (successor to Stonegate Realty and Torchmark Development Corporation), where, along with being on a development team that developed and/or redeveloped approximately 1,000,000 square feet of commercial space, he handled the leasing and sales for The Urban Center at Liberty Park which entailed more than 2.5 million square feet of landlord leases and sales estimated at over $300 million in total value. As Mr. Chew becomes a partner in Hydinger Stewart & Chew Commercial Properties, he will continue his involvement in the development of office, retail, mixed use, hotel and residential land projects in Birmingham, AL as well as focusing on office brokerage including the leasing and sales for landlords, tenants, owners, users and investors. He is a lifelong resident of Birmingham, AL. Mr. Chew received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from The University of the South- Sewanee.
