At Diamond Creek Holdings (DCH), Clem is primarily responsible for acquisition, development, and leasing activities. Before joining DCH, he spent over 25 years at First Mortgage Corporation (FMC), where he ultimately served as President. Under his leadership, FMC expanded into a 50-branch network of residential mortgage offices across the Western United States and achieved significant growth. Clem's dedication to serving underrepresented borrowers earned both him and FMC a congressional citation and the Department of Commerce's "Finance Champion of the Year" award. He also served on the boards of the California Mortgage Banking Association (CMBA) and the Community Home Lenders Association (CHLA), and has addressed mortgage-related issues before state and federal legislative bodies, regulatory agencies, and even the White House. Beyond his role at FMC, Clem managed several companies involved in real estate acquisition, construction, and management. Through these ventures, he participated in thousands of property flips, built a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and residential properties, and led numerous development projects. Additionally, Clem co-founded Nutrishop, a national chain of sports nutrition retail stores.
