Professional Summary: I am an office and tech specialist in the Sacramento metropolitan area. I bring a high level of energy and experience to every assignment. Since Joining Newmark in 1989, I have completed over 1,115 lease and sale transactions totaling over 14 million square feet with a value in excess of $2.6 billion. From 2000 through 2018, I completed over 700 lease/sale transactions totaling over 11.5 million square feet of office space, which represents over $2.2 billion in transactions. Recent transactions included the sale of Downtown Plaza, a 700,000-square-foot office and mall in the Central Business District, a 300,000-square-foot build-to-suit for the California State offices of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and the sale of 400,000 square feet of office buildings occupied by the California Department of Transportation. I am a member of (LAI) Lambda Alpha International, Sacramento Sutter Club and ACRE. I recently received the Russ Thompson Award, the highest honor bestowed by Newmark, in recognition of my leadership and consistent success in pursuit of the firm’s best practices. From 2000 through 2016, I was nominated annually for the Association of Commercial Real Estate’s (ACRE’s) Broker of the Year award, and was named Office Broker of the Year in 2013. Additionally, I was a guest panel speaker at both the Sacramento Association of REALTORS® 2013 and 2014 and ACRE’s 2014 mid-year market update. As a guest panel speaker for NAIOP, I presented the 1998 recap and 1999 projections for the office and high-tech sectors of the Sacramento regional marketplace. Over the last three decades, I have represented clients such as MLIC, KBS Investment, Pappas Investments, Twin Trees, Metzler, Opus Development, Aerojet/Gencorp Company, All-Data/AutoZone, Inc., Baxter Health Care, CNA Insurance, Coopers & Lybrand, Downey Brand, Monsanto Company, New York Life Insurance, Physician’s Clinical Laboratory, Inc., the State of California, TASQ Technologies, and The Gap and Williams Sonoma Internet Centers. My success in real estate stems from my ability to understand the many needs of my clients and in-depth knowledge of market trends, costs of construction, contract negotiations, and the many complexities and processors associated with relocating a corporate facility.
